| Program description: | Abacus In-Home Tutoring, Inc. delivers the individualized instruction students need to meet their academic goals in reading and mathematics. Abacus specializes in working with all students in Kindergarten through twelfth grade, including students with disabilities and English language learners. Parents are informed of their student's progress toward goals on a regular basis while monthly written progress reports are provided to parents. Students who complete the Abacus program show an average of a years worth of growth! | ||||||||||

| Description of tutor qualifications: | Abacus instructors are either state certified teachers or degreed professionals (with a minimum of 60 hours of college credit) and relevant tutoring or teaching experience. In-Home Tutoring Services? tutors work with your child to help him/her succeed where it matters most, in the classroom by using educational curriculum specific to your child?s needs and aligned with Indiana Content Standards. | Description of tutor qualifications: | Club Z! hires only highly qualified, skilled supervisory and instructional staff including certified teachers and degreed professionals, and individuals with a minimum of 60 hours of college credit with preference shown to applicants with teaching certifications, experience teaching reading and/or mathematics, and/or individuals with advanced degrees, as well as specific experience working with Title I students. Tutors are only hired after their resume, degree and/or certification, and references have been checked and after each applicant has successfully completed a thorough criminal background check. | ||||||||||
