Program description: Ole Miss Tutoring Center will provide high quality, researched and standard based instruction in language arts, reading, and math, for grades K-5. Tutors will be licensed teachers with a history of student academic success within their general education classrooms. Assessments will be used to establish a baseline instructional level and tutors will monitor student responses to ensure that adequate growth occurs. Tutors will provide well-designed, effective instruction that will increase students exposure to Indiana Academic Standards where they are deficient.

Description of tutor qualifications: Teachers will be highly qualified and licensed in the subject areas they are teaching. Teachers that are selected to become tutors will have a history of student academic success within their general education classrooms.
